BJP retain key portfolios in Modi 3.0; Home stays with Shah, Suresh Gopi gets double role as min of State

The third term of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government has familiar faces retaining key portfolios. Amit Shah remains the Home Minister, while other important ministries like Defence, Finance, and External Affairs also stay with the BJP. Among BJP’s allies, H D Kumaraswamy and TDP’s Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu have been given specific portfolios. New entrants to the Union Cabinet include J P Nadda as the Health Minister and Shivraj Singh Chouhan as the Agriculture and Rural Development Minister. Various other ministers have been appointed to different ministries.
