A BJP MLA from Armur, Paidi Rakesh Reddy, was booked by the Hyderabad Cyber Crime police for making derogatory comments against police personnel and the police department. The police took action after videos of his comments were shared online by a user. Reddy had used abusive language towards a duty officer at a temple where a deity was vandalized. The police have also booked the user who shared the video. This kind of content can create unrest in society, and as a public figure, it was not appropriate for the MLA to behave in such a manner. An investigation is ongoing to gather evidence and proceed accordingly.
