The BJP recently organized protests in 245 slum clusters in Delhi, criticizing the poor living conditions under AAP’s rule. Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva claimed that slumdwellers were suffering due to AAP’s mismanagement and promised to improve their lives if voted to power. Several BJP functionaries participated in the protests, with MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri accusing AAP of neglecting the slums. In response, AAP alleged that central government agencies have left thousands of slumdwellers homeless. AAP also highlighted the benefits slumdwellers have received from Delhi government initiatives.
