A 21-year-old student named Kushal Gowda was arrested for recording inside a women’s toilet using his mobile phone. He was caught red-handed by a girl who noticed his phone placed in the gap between the walls of the adjacent toilets. The incident took place in a private engineering college near Kumbalagodu on Mysuru Road. The college management failed to take necessary precautions as the CCTVs near the women’s toilets were not working. Kushal was locked inside the principal’s chamber after the incident and the police seized his mobile phone, which had recorded for nearly 15 minutes.
