The Mumbai Police have discovered a photo of NCP leader Baba Siddique’s son, Zeeshan Siddique, on a suspect’s phone linked to Siddique’s murder. The suspects used Snapchat to communicate, with messages being deleted after instructions were given. One of the arrested suspects, Ram Kanojia, revealed that he was offered the contract to kill Siddique for one crore rupees. Initially approached by fugitive suspect Shubham Lonkar, Kanojia demanded a high fee due to Siddique’s prominence in Maharashtra. Lonkar then hired shooters from Uttar Pradesh for the job. A look-out notice has been issued for Lonkar and two other suspects who are suspected of trying to flee to Nepal. Siddique was shot outside his office and taken to a hospital in Mumbai.
