Ayodhya is getting ready for a spectacular Deepotsav celebration with 28 lakh earthen Diyas to light up the city for Diwali. The newly-built Ram Janmabhoomi Temple will also host grand festivities. The riverbanks of Saryu River are decorated with Diyas, creating a mesmerizing view. This year’s Diwali is special as it is the first for Shri Ram Lalla in the temple. Chinese decorations are not allowed, and the scene of Lord Ram’s return to Ayodhya will be recreated. Lord Ram Lalla and his brothers will wear special clothes designed by Manish Malhotra. The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony was held in January with PM Modi.
