The Aam Aadmi Party has criticized the BJP for allegedly forcing newly-appointed chief minister Atishi to vacate the CM house at 6, Flagstaff Road in Civil Lines. They accused the BJP of having an anti-women mindset and condemned the act of throwing out Atishi’s belongings during Navratri. The AAP leader Priyanka Kakkar suggested that BJP’s actions could result in them being cursed and not returning to power in Delhi for 27 years. The controversy arose when PWD officials took possession of the residence after Atishi moved some of her belongings there.
