A tragic bus accident in Uttarakhand’s Almora district resulted in the deaths of 23 people and left 15 others injured. The bus carrying around 40 passengers veered off the road and fell into a deep gorge. The incident occurred while the bus was travelling from Pauri to Ramnagar. The local authorities, police, SDRF, and NDRF immediately launched a search and rescue operation. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed his condolences and assured that relief and rescue efforts are being expedited. Efforts are being made to evacuate the injured, with plans in place to airlift those in critical condition if necessary.
