American citizens living in India had until October 4 to submit their ballots for the US elections. The Federal Voting Assistance Programme (FVAP) helped them exercise their voting rights by using a drop box at the US Consulate in Hyderabad. The consulate also hosted an information session to guide voters through the process, covering key information like registering to vote and filling out forms. After completing their ballots, voters could drop them in a designated box at the consulate, ensuring secure dispatch to Washington for final processing and counting in the respective states.
