Air India has announced that check-in counters at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi will now close 75 minutes before international flight departures, instead of the previous 60 minutes. This change is to allow passengers more time to clear security and immigration, which can be crowded during peak times. While some travelers are not happy with this adjustment, many hope it will improve Air India’s on-time performance, as the airline has had a history of delays. It remains to be seen if other airlines will also make similar changes.
