Agra man attempts suicide after breakup; rescued by police

A young man in Agra attempted suicide after a breakup, recording his intentions in a viral Instagram video. The police quickly located him in his rented room and found him in distress after consuming a mosquito-repellent chemical. They broke down the door and took him to the hospital for treatment. The man, who was in Agra preparing for exams, had been severely depressed following the breakup. The police were alerted by the media cell and were able to intervene in time to save the man’s life.
