Government hospitals in the State, such as Gandhi Hospital and Osmania General Hospital, faced minor disruptions due to a strike by over 850 Aarogya Mitras for the second day. Aarogya Mitras, who assist patients under the Rajiv Aarogyasri Health Care Trust, began their strike to address unmet demands. The strike has affected services for low-income patients who rely on Aarogyasri services. The Telangana United Medical and Health Employees Union will meet with the Health Minister to discuss their issues. Despite the strike, hospital superintendents have ensured that patient services were not disrupted by making alternate staffing arrangements.
