‘400 paar’ call backfired, was linked to negative narrative: Shinde | India News

The BJP’s goal of winning over 400 LS seats in the last election did not go as planned, with negative narratives about changing the Constitution affecting their performance. Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde pointed out that the fear of constitutional changes and loss of reservations hurt the BJP’s chances in some regions. Despite praising PM Modi’s hard work, Shinde acknowledged that the ‘400 paar’ target caused problems for the party. He also emphasized the importance of supporting crop prices for farmers and planned to meet the Union agriculture minister to discuss minimum support prices for onion, cotton, and soybean.
