₹25,000 dislocation allowance along with 2BHK houses to families who voluntarily relocated from Musi riverbed



Families who have voluntarily relocated from the Musi riverbed in Hyderabad will be given a dislocation allowance of ₹25,000 and a 2BHK home by the Telangana government. This announcement was made by the district collector on October 2, 2024. The allowance will cover relocation expenses, including transportation costs. So far, 163 families have moved to 2BHK homes, with some of their houses being demolished in Shankarnagar. This is part of the Musi River Development Project, and the government plans to provide compensation based on the value of the land and structure for those affected.
