The Western Railway has announced that passengers will face penalties if their luggage exceeds the permissible limit for their travel class. Items like scooters and bicycles, as well as consignments larger than 100 cm x 100 cm x 70 cm, do not qualify for free allowance. The railway is urging passengers to avoid overcrowding at stations and to follow luggage limits to reduce congestion and ensure smooth movement. The temporary restrictions on platform ticket sales are in place until November 8 to improve safety and security for passengers.
