Uzbekistan Airways announced direct flights from Tashkent to Goa starting October 27, aiming to boost tourism and cultural ties between the two destinations. The flights will operate twice a week using an Airbus A320 aircraft. This new route comes after efforts from the Uzbekistan Embassy, tour operators, Indian Embassy in Tashkent, and the Goa Department of Tourism. Goa’s strategy is to attract diverse tourists and promote itself as a year-round destination. This initiative is expected to open up new opportunities for tourism and cultural exchange between Uzbekistan and Goa.
