Two police help centres have been opened at Thakurli and Kopar railway stations in Maharashtra’s Thane district to improve passenger safety. These centres are strategically located on the western side of the stations, allowing police officers to quickly assist passengers in need. The centres will operate 24/7 to provide immediate help in case of any incidents. Maharashtra Public Works Minister Ravindra Chavan inaugurated the centres, highlighting the collaborative efforts of six police commissioners to enhance commuter safety. This initiative aims to ensure the safety and security of passengers traveling through these stations.
