Tata Motors has finally entered the compact SUV segment with the launch of the Curvv, after initially planning to introduce a model codenamed Blackbird back in 2019 to rival the Hyundai Creta. However, due to geopolitical tensions between India and China, Tata Motors decided to terminate its agreement with Chery, a Chinese car maker, and focus on promoting domestic manufacturing through the ‘Make in India’ initiative. The Curvv stands out in the market with its bold SUV coupe design language and is offered with a range of powertrain options to cater to different customer preferences. It features a futuristic styling that sets it apart from other models in the market.
