The Terminal-1 of Jaipur International Airport was inaugurated by Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma after being closed for almost 11 years. The Chief Minister highlighted the airport’s importance in Rajasthan’s development journey and noted that the state government is strengthening the aviation sector. The revamped terminal offers modern facilities, including immigration counters, check-in counters, duty-free outlets, medical room, ambulance service, and a lounge. The airport’s passenger capacity is expected to increase significantly, creating employment opportunities for the state’s youth. The government is also working on constructing helipads in border districts and major places to facilitate air travel.
