Petrol to electric: Tata Nexon is India’s only SUV with widest powertrain range

The Tata Nexon sub-compact SUV offers a wide range of powertrain options including petrol, diesel, petrol-CNG, and electric, making it a popular choice in India since its launch in 2017. With various transmission choices available, the SUV appeals to a wide range of customers. The petrol variant comes with a 1.2-litre turbocharged engine, while the diesel variant features a 1.5-litre engine. The petrol-CNG bi-fuel option, known as the Tata Nexon iCNG, offers an alternative fuel choice. The electric version of the Nexon, known as the Nexon EV, has been a hit in the Indian market with two battery pack options and impressive range capabilities.
