The Noida International Airport in Jewar, Greater Noida, will honor farmers who contributed their land for its construction by making them the first passengers on its inaugural flight. The Uttar Pradesh government confirmed this special plan to show appreciation for the farmers’ crucial role in the airport’s development. The airport, set to be one of the largest in Asia, is scheduled to begin operations in April 2025 with domestic, international, and cargo flights. It aims to boost economic growth and connectivity in the region, marking a significant milestone in aviation development.
