Navratri 2024: Delhi Police Issues Traffic Advisory, Know Which Routes to Avoid

Due to the Ramleela event at Red Fort, traffic restrictions have been put in place on Subhash Marg in central Delhi during the nine days of Navratri. This is to ensure smooth traffic flow in the area as a large crowd is expected during the event. Vehicles are restricted on Lower Subhash Marg from 5 p.m. to 12:30 am from October 4 to October 12, while DTC buses and heavy vehicles are banned on Upper Subhash Marg during the same period. Additionally, ongoing road repair works in various parts of Delhi, such as the Sarita Vihar Flyover on Mathura Road, may cause traffic congestion until October 30. Commuters are advised to be cautious and consider using alternate routes.
