The Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train corridor is making significant progress, with 12 out of 20 bridges already completed and work underway on a 21-km tunnel, including a 7-km section under the sea. Once completed, travel time between Mumbai and Ahmedabad will be reduced from 6-8 hours to just three hours, boosting connectivity and commercial activity. The National High-Speed Rail Corporation has also successfully acquired all the necessary land for the Gujarat section of the corridor, with construction moving swiftly towards the goal of commencing bullet train operations in certain sections within Gujarat in the near future.
