Mercedes-Benz EQA electric SUV launch confirmed on July 8

Mercedes-Benz will be introducing the EQA electric SUV in India on July 8, 2024, making it the brand’s fourth EV in the country. The EQA will be the most accessible EV from Mercedes-Benz in India and will compete with models like the Volvo XC40 Recharge and Hyundai Ioniq 5. The EQA features a luxurious interior with advanced technology such as a digital driver’s display and a touchscreen infotainment system. It will be available in four variants globally, but it is unclear which trims will be offered in the Indian market. The EQA is powered by a 66.5 kWh battery pack with a range of up to 560 km. Pricing and availability details will be announced next month, and it is unknown if the EQA will be locally assembled or brought to India as a Completely Built Unit (CBU).
