Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector (FES) announced its tractor sales numbers for September 2024, showing growth in overall and domestic sales but a drop in exports. Domestic sales increased to 43,201 units, a 10% growth from the previous year. The company attributes this growth to an increase in monsoon rainfall and positive rural sentiments. However, exports decreased to 1,055 units. Total tractor sales, including domestic and exports, reached 44,256 units, a 2% year-on-year growth. Despite the drop in exports, the company remains optimistic about future demand due to good crop conditions and upcoming festivals.
