During the Durga Puja festival, Kolkata Metro will be operating extended services to accommodate the festive rush. On October 10 and 11, there will be 248 services running till 4 am in the North-South corridor. Trains will also run till late on the days of ‘Saptami’ and ‘Astami-Navami’, as well as on ‘Dashami’. On ‘Sasthi’, there will be 288 services starting from early morning. The Metro will operate different numbers of services on different days in the Green Line – 1 and Green Line – 2 corridors. This initiative aims to provide convenient transportation for commuters during the festive season.
