India’s Kush Maini completes his first F1 test with Alpine F1 Team

Indian racer Kush Maini recently completed his first Formula 1 test with the BWT Alpine F1 Team, bringing hope for an Indian racer in an F1 seat. Maini, who is currently competing in Formula 2 and is part of the Alpine Academy, tested the Alpine F1 car, marking a significant milestone in his career. He has been working alongside Alpine F1 Team drivers Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly, showing promising growth in Formula 2 this season with multiple podium finishes. Maini has also been mentored by Mika Hakkinen and signed as a reserve driver for Mahindra Racing in Formula E. The Alpine Academy’s driver development program has been instrumental in shaping the careers of F1 drivers like Zhou Guanyu, Oscar Piastri, and Olli Caldwell.
