Skoda has launched the new Kylaq sub-compact SUV in India with a starting price of ₹7.89 lakh. It is the third made-in-India offering from the Czech brand and shares a platform with the Kushaq and Slavia models. The Kylaq is powered by a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and offers features like LED DRLs, 17-inch alloys, and a spacious interior with electric seats and a touchscreen infotainment system. Skoda has tested the Kylaq extensively in Indian conditions and offers 25 safety features. The SUV also provides ample storage space and 446-litres of cargo storage in the boot. It competes with popular models like the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, and Kia Sonet in the sub-10 lakh segment.
