Hyderabad Metro: Phase-2 Gets Final Touches, Six New Corridors Set To Transform The City



The detailed project reports (DPRs) for all the corridors of the Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase-2 project are being finalized, with the entire project expected to cost around ā‚¹32,237 crore. Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy reviewed the progress of the DPRs recently. The project will have six corridors covering 116.2 km, with DPRs for most corridors to be finalized in the coming weeks for government approvals. The Fourth City Metro line will receive ā‚¹8,000 crore of the total cost. The project is proposed to be a joint venture between the Telangana government and the Government of India, similar to other Metro Rail projects in the country.
