Honda is gearing up to unveil its first electric scooter for India, likely to be called the Honda Activa Electric. The model is expected to share features with the iconic Activa brand while offering a range of about 100 km. The company has been experimenting with fixed and swappable battery options, similar to its electric three-wheelers. The Activa Electric is anticipated to compete with models like Ather Rizta, TVS iQube, and Bajaj Chetak. Honda recently showcased the CUV e: electric scooter for Europe, featuring two removable battery packs and a range of over 70 km on a single charge.
