The Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail corridor is set to launch in December 2025, with each of its eight stations in Gujarat showcasing the art, history, and achievements of their respective towns. Inspired by local culture, the station designs range from reflecting Mahatma Gandhi’s charkha to celebrating Surat’s diamond industry. These stations aim to not only improve transportation but also drive economic growth and urban connectivity through Transit-Oriented Development. The project will enhance accessibility and comfort with energy-efficient escalators and boost development in the areas surrounding the stations.
