The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has proposed to accelerate the Golden Line Metro extension from Aerocity to Kalindi Kunj, which will improve connectivity between the Indira Gandhi International Airport and the upcoming Noida International Airport. The extension will include two new stations and is expected to be completed in three years, in contrast to the six years it will take to complete the Namo Bharat Metro route to Noida International Airport. The integration of the Golden Line with the Magenta Line at Botanical Garden Metro Station will make travel easier for residents of Noida and Greater Noida, as well as passengers traveling to both airports.
