Gensol Engineering has received an impressive 30,000 pre-orders for its compact electric vehicles, Ezio and Ezibot, designed for micro urban mobility. The vehicles offer low running costs and can cover 200 km on a single charge. The company aims to tackle urban commuting challenges and plans to launch in key urban markets soon. The pre-orders, mostly from existing fleet operators, indicate strong market demand for the compact EVs. One notable feature is the EV’s ‘reverse trike structure’ that improves manoeuvrability in tight spaces. Production will begin at the company’s facility in Pune, with a focus on creating affordable fleet operations and addressing urban issues like traffic congestion and pollution.
