Sarla Aviation and Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) have partnered to introduce electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft in Bengaluru, promising to revolutionize travel to Kempegowda International Airport. These seven-seater electric aircraft can cover short distances of 20-40 kilometers within the city, drastically reducing travel times and easing traffic congestion. The eVTOLs, powered by electricity, can reach speeds of 250 km/h and require just 15 minutes of charging time between flights. This innovative approach to urban air mobility aims to provide efficient transportation options and create a sustainable aviation model for the future.
