Bengaluru Metro: BMRCL To Open Retail Spaces At 55 Stations For A Better Commuter Experience

Bengaluru’s Namma Metro is introducing retail outlets, shops, and cafes at 55 stations on the Purple and Green Lines to improve passenger convenience and generate extra revenue. The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) is leasing out empty spaces for food stalls, convenience stores, and personal care outlets, creating a one-stop solution for commuters. The initiative aims to enhance the metro experience while following strict guidelines to maintain a safe and family-friendly environment. With 220 vacant spaces available, businesses can apply to set up shop at these stations, revitalizing the commercial landscape and boosting non-fare revenue for BMRCL.
