The BBMP is redesigning the Deepanjali Nagar intersection to connect it directly with the NICE Road Cloverleaf Junction in order to ease traffic on the Outer Ring Road. The road construction will be carried out by NICE, and completion of the project may be delayed due to land acquisition issues. The new link is expected to cover about one kilometer and will help reduce congestion in the area. Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has directed officials to prioritize this connectivity project to improve traffic flow in Bengaluru.
