Bandra to Marine Drive in Just 12 Minutes as Arch Bridge Connecting Coastal Road With Sea Link Opens Partially Today

The Mumbai Coastal Road Project (South) has opened a new southern bridge connecting the Bandra-Worli Sea Link and reducing travel time from Bandra to Marine Drive to just 12 minutes. This will help relieve traffic congestion at Bindu Madhav Thackeray Chowk in Worli. The project spans 29 km and cost Rs 12,721 crore, including three internal roads and two tunnels. The inauguration was attended by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar. The new bridge links the North Channel Line with the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, providing a signal-free route from Marine Drive to Bandra.
