Audi has launched a new EV sub-brand called AUDI specifically for the Chinese market in collaboration with SAIC. The brand showcases a connection to and differentiation from the parent company with bold ‘AUDI’ lettering replacing the traditional four-ring logo. The first offering, the AUDI E Concept, features an 800-volt electric architecture, dual electric motors, and impressive performance capabilities. The interior boasts a futuristic design with a curved touchscreen display and individual seats. The upcoming models will include an electric sedan in 2026 and an SUV in 2027, targeting younger, tech-oriented Chinese EV buyers. Audi aims to gain an edge in the Chinese market with this new brand.
