Ather Energy saw a significant increase in sales in October, surpassing 20,000 units sold. This surge was mainly driven by the new Ather Rizta electric scooter, which accounted for the majority of the sales. The Rizta competes with other mainstream electric scooters like the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, and Ola S1. Despite challenges, Ola Electric remains a dominant player in the market with over 50,000 units sold in October. Ather is optimistic about the demand for its e-scooters and has filed for a ₹4,500 crore IPO to support further growth. The company has also expanded its presence internationally, with dispatches to Sri Lanka.
