Air India’s Delhi-Chicago Flight Diverted To Canada After Bomb Threat, 5th Incident In Less Than 48 Hours

A bomb threat received via social media caused Air India flight AI 127 from New Delhi to Chicago to divert to Canada’s Iqaluit International Airport. This is the second bomb threat reported today, making it a total of five such incidents involving flights in the past two days. Authorities are investigating the source of the threats, and all passengers on the diverted flight are safe. Air India expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to customers and stated that they are cooperating with authorities to identify and hold accountable those responsible for the threats. Another Air India Express flight was also delayed earlier in the day due to a bomb threat.
