A crore and beyond: Maruti Suzuki’s Manesar plant achieves major milestone with a Brezza SUV

Maruti Suzuki has achieved a significant milestone by rolling out one crore vehicles from its Manesar facility in Haryana. The plant, one of the largest operated by the carmaker in India, hit this milestone with the production of a Brezza sub-compact SUV. The Manesar facility, which began operations in 2006, is capable of manufacturing around 10 lakh vehicles annually and is crucial to Maruti’s global ambitions. The carmaker currently has four operational facilities in India, with the Manesar plant being the fastest among Suzuki’s global manufacturing facilities to reach this milestone. Maruti Suzuki’s Managing Director and CEO highlighted the achievement as a testament to India’s manufacturing capabilities and commitment to the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
