The Terminal-1 of Jaipur International Airport has been modernized and reopened for passengers after almost 11 years. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma inaugurated the terminal, stating that the airport plays a crucial role in the development of the state. The revamped terminal will provide better services to passengers with modern facilities and attract international investment. It features immigration counters, check-in counters, duty-free outlets, medical rooms, ambulance services, and lounges. The airport’s passenger capacity is expected to increase significantly, creating job opportunities. The state government is working to strengthen the aviation sector, with plans to construct helipads in border districts and major places for easy air travel access.
