The upcoming Maharashtra election on November 20 will see friendly contests among allies of the Mahayuti and Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) in 29 out of 288 assembly seats. The MVA allies will be facing challenges, especially with smaller parties from the INDIA bloc also in the mix. The ruling Mahayuti partners BJP, Shiv Sena, and NCP will contest together in six seats, while the opposition alliance of Shiv Sena (UBT), NCP (SP), and Congress will have face-offs in 21 constituencies. Various smaller parties like the Peasants and Workers Party of India, Samajwadi Party, and the Left are also contesting alongside MVA allies. This friendly competition may impact the overall election results.
