A man in South Florida, John Lapinski, was arrested for making threats against Congressman Jared Moskowitz. Lapinski, a convicted felon, was found in possession of firearms, body armor, and ammunition. Police discovered a manifesto with antisemitic rhetoric and Moskowitz’s name on a target list. Lapinski has prior felony convictions and was arrested near Moskowitz’s home. Moskowitz, who was re-elected to a second term, expressed concern for congressional member security. The incident has been condemned by fellow politicians and law enforcement agencies are investigating the case.
