‘Swadisht Hai’: Ex-Himachal CM Jairam Thakur Throws Samosa Party To Mock Sukhvinder Sukhu

Three boxes of samosas meant for the CM disappeared and were served to his security staff instead. This led to a CID investigation and the BJP mocked the Congress government over the incident. In response, Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur hosted a samosa party for BJP leaders and workers in Mandi, enjoying the snacks and jokingly saying, “It’s very delicious.” The BJP had also sent jalebis to Rahul Gandhi previously, making food a talking point in political circles. The CID investigation focused on the “misbehavior” of officials rather than the missing samosas, with the CM calling the BJP’s reaction “childish.”
