Mexico legend Guardado retiring from club game



Mexican soccer legend Andrés Guardado has announced his retirement from professional soccer, with his last likely match for León this Sunday. The 38-year-old had previously retired from the national team and expressed gratitude for the opportunities he has had in his career. Despite not making the playoffs, Guardado still hopes to play in the postseason if León qualifies. He has had a successful career both internationally and at the club level, playing for teams in Europe and Mexico. Guardado leaves the sport proud of his achievements and grateful for the support he has received throughout his career.
