‘Forgive Me If I’ve Hurt Anyone’: CJI Chandrachud Signs Off At Supreme Court Ceremony



Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud was given a ceremonial farewell at the Supreme Court as he retired from judicial service. During the online streaming of the Ceremonial Bench, lawyers praised his contributions to the judiciary. CJI Chandrachud reflected on his time in the judiciary, stating that they are all pilgrims passing through. He expressed his commitment to justice and hearing as many matters as possible before his farewell. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta and lawyers like Kapil Sibal and Abhishek Manu Singhvi praised his impartiality, patience, and youthful appearance. CJI Chandrachud thanked everyone for their support and asked for forgiveness if he had ever hurt anyone.
