Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar explained that he did not ask Prime Minister Narendra Modi to hold a campaign rally in his constituency of Baramati because the election there is essentially a family affair, with him running against his nephew from the rival Nationalist Congress Party. The PM will be holding rallies for the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections, but not in Baramati. Ajit Pawar also mentioned that NCP candidates may not be seeking rallies from senior BJP leaders due to limited time and election expenses. He expressed confidence in his own victory, citing his previous margin of victory in the 2019 state elections.
