Work on Oman’s tallest flagpole project in full swing

Construction of the largest flagpole in Oman is well underway, with the structure currently standing at an impressive 50 meters in height and expected to reach 126 meters upon completion. The flagpole, located near the Ministries District in Al Khuwair, will be part of an 18,000-square-meter development that will include business activities, entertainment, and sports facilities. The project, symbolizing Oman’s aspirations for progress, is a result of a successful public-private partnership and is set to be inaugurated during the country’s National Day celebrations in November. The flagpole will feature the Omani national flag and will be equipped with a warning light system for aircraft safety.
