Not Heard Anything Formally From Pakistan: India On ‘Climate Diplomacy’ Over Smog Issue



Pakistan’s Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz has called for ‘climate diplomacy’ with India to address the issue of smog affecting cities on both sides of the border. However, the Ministry of External Affairs in India has stated that they have not heard anything formally from Islamabad on this matter. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal mentioned this during a media briefing, indicating that there has been no official communication from Pakistan regarding the proposed ‘climate diplomacy’. The issue remains unresolved as of now.
